GEIM is pleased to welcome Gabriel Guimarães Faria and Lívia Carolina Câmara de Souza as new undergraduate research students to our team.

Both students are beneficiaries of the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC). This program offered by CNPq encourages undergraduate students to participate in research projects. It seeks to enhance the training of future researchers and professionals, offering scholarships to provide financial assistance and practical experience in scientific research under the guidance of a professor. The program also helps students develop critical thinking, enriches their curriculum and can facilitate access to postgraduate studies.
